We have our own up to date handling equipment which is necessary for the off-loading and loading of various stocks and have drivers qualified to operate these machines. All staff are provided with a company uniform which we feel gives a proffessional appearnce and is part of the high standard which we set. We pride ourselves with our low staff turnover, their loyalty is reflected in the high standard at which they maintain the vehicles, which are assigned to them on a permanent basis.

We undertake a variety of work and have a network of other hauliers throughout the UK which we employ if necessary to fulfil our contracts. Some of our work is detailed below, and on the website.

Ministry of Defence Work

We are contracted to the MOD and are responsible for the movement of vehicles, machinery, containers, stores, baggage, etc. to and from various destinations in the UK, ranging from Cornwall to Scotland. We have been undertaking this work for several years and our drivers are very familiar with places and equipment involved as well as the crictical timings often required for certain moves. This work is carried out when and where ever, regardless of times or dates.

Construction

We operate eight tipper lorries and often sub-hire in many more to fulfil the demand from the local construction companies for site work.

Regular Contracts

In addition to our work with the MOD, we also act as storage agents for the Maritime and Coastguard Agency in that we keep a large amount of dispersant at our premises. Should there be any incidents involving shipwrecks along our coastline we are responsible for the immediate haulage of the dispersant to the site as quickly as possible at any time throughout the year.
We can also store and deliver paper and plastic sacks for industrial and agricultue use and are proud to say that we have been involved with this company for 15 years.

Transporting Straw
Another aspect of our business involves the storage of containers. We have a large outdoor area set aside for this use which includes storage for major supermarkets and the MOD.
Other contracts include work for local agricultural co-operatives which involves delivery of farm machinery, feed and fertiliser to and from local farms and various depots within the southwest. During the straw season we collect large quantities of straw from further a-field and distribute dirct to customers or it can be stored undercover on our premises until required.
